Proper cleaning and maintenance of your Smartfruit pump helps ensure safe product dispensing and keeps your pump working properly over time.

How to Assemble Your Smartfruit Pump #

When you receive your Smartfruit pump, it comes in two pieces:

To assemble: Connect the dip tube to the bottom of the pump.

When opening a new Smartfruit bottle, please note that the bottle is filled close to the top. Insert the pump carefully to help avoid spillage.

Press down slightly on the pump as you insert it into the bottle to help create suction in the dip tube.
Screw on the locking collar until secure.

Fun Fact: One full pump dispenses approximately 1 fl. oz of product!

We recommend cleaning your Smartfruit pump regularly to maintain food safety and proper performance.

Fill an empty container with hot water.
Place the pump into the container of hot water to pump the hot water through the pump until any product residue has been removed.
Remove the dip tube and unscrew the locking collar to disassemble the pump.
Clean all parts thoroughly with hot water and dish soap.
Rinse all parts completely with warm, clean water.
Sanitize all parts according to your local sanitation requirements.
Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

We recommend:

Cleaning the pump every time you attach it to a new bottle
Cleaning immediately if visible buildup or residue appears
Fully cleaning, rinsing, sanitizing, and drying all parts at minimum every 24 hours
